7 Days, 7 Beaches – 2nd Visit

Lovely week in North Cornwall, 7 days, 7 beaches, the kids loved them all. Body boarding, castle building, meeting friends, jumping off rocks, rock pooling. Great base to see it all from, everything you need for a family holiday. Porthcothan was best beach day and golden fudge ice cream was very nice.

The Robertsons – August 2019

Such a Lovely Cottage

Such a lovely, welcoming cottage. One perfect, quiet base to visit all the local sights and enjoy the surfing at Polzeath Beach. Homely touches and clean / comfortable. We would look to return to see what it’s like in Winter – mayber a cornish Christmas! Thank you! x

Nothing puts us off Cornwall!

Lovely and clean cottage, with many extras! We had a lovely week with varied weather, but nothing puts us off Cornwall! Facilities in cottage excellent, all comfy and well thought out. Many thanks.

Lovely beaches

We loved your guide books, they helped us get around to places. Also kids playing outside with others from different cottages. Good supply of DVD’s, good for family movie night. Comfy beds and sofa, lovely beaches.

The perfect location

Perfect location for us. Cottage very comfortable & has everything we needed. Could have done with more sunshine but otherwise a lovely holiday, lists of coastal walking & peace & quiet.

Debby, Angela (& Dougal) – March 2017

A fantastic week at Pebble Cottage

We have had a fantastic week at Pebble Cottage – weather has been mostly good so did lots of exploring (lost Gardens of Helicon is a must!!).
Lovely cottage in a great location – can’t wait to come back!

Another Superb Holiday

Back again and as good as ever. A mixture of sunshine and rain, but we are prepared for everything. Great local food, excellent beer (Dad says!) and fantastic scenery make for another superb holiday. I love the theme, pebbles, and the way lots of the stuff is linked – especially the ironing board! Lovely house and can’t wait for October when we’ll be back again.

The Bell Family – May 2014

All in all, brilliant!

Lovely cottage. A great week with great weather. Had lots lovely walks between Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath broken up with meals at The Point and Oyster Catcher. Love this area. Bed very comfy. All in All Brillaint!

Third visit to Tregyln Farm – great. Pebble Cottage is a great find, everything you need for a rest and recuperation. Will be back!

Great location – 3rd Visit!

This is our third time at Pebble Cottage, we love it here, it’s a great location and is pretty central to everything. We have been lucky with the weather, no rain all this week. We have enjoyed trips to Padstow, Port Issac, Healeys Cider Farm and Newquay Zoo.

We love Polzeath and can’t wait to visit again soon.

Mr & Mrs Bunday – April 2014

Return to Cornwall

This is our second time to Pebble Cottage and we love it. This was a surprise birthday weekend that my husband organised, and Julie organised flowers and wine for me. We love it in Cornwall and the cottage is a great base.

Thanks for another great holiday (even if wet & windy).

Matt & Lou, Maddie & Oscar – Feb 2014

Great to be back at Pebble Cottage

Just a line to say thanks for delicious biscuits and bottle of cider. Great to be back at Pebble but we were very sad to leave yesterday! The new look bathroom is great and the settees very smart. Love the colours.

We were lucky with the weather apart from Monday when we arrived when it was cold – heaters on and extra layers so soon warmed up. There was some mist in the evenings but that’s not unusual in Cornwall. Friday we walked from Daymer Bay to Polzeath and back and were well wrapped up against the wind but the sun was very bright and the colour of the sand and sea amazing. An exhilarating walk!

We were the only people staying in the cottages so nice and quiet – just the birdsong and watching the rabbits racing around. Wonderful!

My daughter, Sarah, is already saying can we go again later in the year – we would certainly like too.

Angela, and Sarah – April 2013

Delightful Holiday

Just a short note to say that we so enjoyed staying at ‘Pebble Cottage’.

We had a delightful week and the weather just got better and better as the week went on.  I had to virtually drag my husband out of Cornwall, he just wanted to stay.

I am sure we will book with you again, hopefully soon

Fab Views of Daymer Bay

What a lovely cottage in the perfect location.

Very relaxing. Wonderful views and tasty mussels at the Rock Inn. Fabulous views from the cliff path between Polzeath & Daymer Bay.

Can’t wait to come again!

Pauline & Frank Beaumont, Dunstable

Lovely Weather in Rock

Lovely weather all week! 🙂

The cottage is decorated lovely and nice and homely.

Good bodyboarding at Polzeath and the tree maze is very fun and cool! 🙂  🙂  🙂  🙂

Great Escape to North Cornwall

Very comfortable and quiet cottage, great escape from our mad, normal lives!! Lovely area, visiting Port Isaac, Tintagel, Padstow by ferry, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Truro, Newquay, Polzeath, Port Quinn, Looe, Boscastle – we did it all! Gorgeous evening meal at Maltsters at Chaple Amble. Disappointed in Rick Steins fish & chips at Padstow, real let down 🙁

Filming Doc Martin from March – July @ Port Isaac, but we didn’t catch up with the Dr on the days we visited. Will definitely come here again 🙂

Trish & Duane Bryant, Bristol

Perfectly placed

Comfortable cottage, perfectly placed for visiting our favourite haunts in Cornwall. Mixed weather but didn’t matter. We would be happy to come again.

Vicky & Chris, Plymouth

Return to Pebble Cottage

Had to come back to Pebble Cottage – perfect location. Eden Project not far from here (about an hour) – worth a visit, especially at this time of year (Nov), ice skating!

Rock, lovely as ever, especially walking along the beach / coastal path – amazing view from the top of Brae Hill! Polzeath beach lovely, but quiet – nice sunsets. Padstow always a must!

Angela & Sarah Bridgman – Barnstaple, Devon

Pebble Cottage & Polzeath a hit

We had an absolutely amazing time this long weekend in your cottage and are super sad to leave. Polzeath is my favourite town ever! Thank you; your cottage is lovely and the art on the walls – gorgeous. I will definitely be back!

Nicole Costello – Orpington, Kent

What a Delight!

Returned yesterday from your cottage – what a delight! We loved it in every way. I could easily live there. Barnstaple seems like a city after all that peace and tranquility. I can see that a return visit may be necessary at a later date.

Angela Bridgman – Barnstaple

Lovely Cottage in Rock

Great accommodation and great location! We had a lovely sunny week in Cornwall, everything at Pebble Cottage was as described and very well equipped. The walk from Rock to Daymer to Polzeath is breathtaking and the kids loved the beach at Polzeath, they are now ‘real’ surf dudes! We’ll definitely be back next year.

The Kings, Milton Keynes

Pebble Cottage – The Perfect Spot

Thanks for the cottage over the weekend.  We had a lovely time. Love the white bed linen – makes such a difference to sleep in decent quality bed linen, so much appreciated! It was really windy but warm if you could get out of the wind, out the front was the perfect spot.

Great Cottage near Polzeath

Lovely, tasteful cottage in beautiful location.  Very peaceful and relaxing.
Nearby Polzeath is great for beach and coastal walks.  Sitting outside the Doom Bar at New Polzeath is a must on a sunny day.
